By using darksparkelectrical.com.au you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Submitting the quote-request form is taken as acceptance of these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Using the website

You can browse the site, read our service pages, and submit a quote request for genuine enquiries about electrical work in our service area. You must not:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit false or misleading information through the quote form.
• Attempt to access, scan, or interfere with the site's underlying systems.
• Use the site to send spam, viruses, or any malicious code.
• Reproduce, copy, or reuse our content (text, images, layout) for any commercial purpose without our written permission.

3. Information, not professional advice

The content on this website is for general information. It describes our services in plain terms but it is not a substitute for a proper site inspection, a written quote, or professional electrical advice tailored to your specific situation.

Examples on the site — typical timing, typical scope, typical inclusions — are guides only. Your job will be quoted based on what's actually there. Pricing is not published on this site; every quote is provided in writing after we've understood the scope.

Do not attempt electrical work yourself based on information on this site. In Western Australia, most electrical work is illegal for unlicensed persons to perform and dangerous to attempt.

4. Quote requests and the quoting process

Submitting the quote-request form on this site is an enquiry, not a contract. By submitting it you're asking us to come back to you with a price.

A binding agreement only forms when:

• We issue you a written quote with a fixed scope and price, and
• You accept that quote in writing (email is fine), and
• Both parties agree to our standard Quote and Job Acceptance Terms & Conditions, which we attach to every quote.

We may decline to quote any enquiry without giving a reason — for example, if it falls outside our service area, our trade scope (we don't do solar or heritage rewires), or our schedule.

5. Intellectual property

All content on this website — the wordmark, the tagline "We keep it lit", the muscle-man secondary mark, page text, page layout, and photography — is owned by Dark Spark Electrical or licensed for our use.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of it for commercial purposes without our written permission. Personal use (saving an article for your own reference, sharing a page link) is fine.

6. Third-party links

This site occasionally links to external websites — for example, regulators (Building & Energy WA, OAIC), our social media (Instagram), or service providers we use. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Visit them at your own discretion.

7. Warranties and disclaimers

We try to keep the website accurate, current, and available. We don't promise that:

For liability relating to actual electrical work we carry out for you, that's covered by the Quote and Job Acceptance Terms & Conditions attached to your quote — not these website terms.

9. Indemnity

If you breach these terms — for example, by misusing the site, submitting false information, or scraping our content — you agree to indemnify us against any loss, damage, or cost we suffer as a result.

10. Changes to the website or these terms

We may update the website at any time — adding pages, removing pages, changing content. We may also update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page shows the current version. For material changes (anything that meaningfully affects your rights), we'll post a notice on this page for at least 30 days.

Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes will be dealt with in WA courts.
